Step 1: Producing Your Transfer Order
Once you receive the image, logo, or text that you would like on your transfers, we finalize the design with you and send it to our high speed digital printer. A 5-color dry toner image is printed on the underside of a polyester film, delivering stunning and unmatched full-color results. From there the film is coated with an adhesive formulated specifically to adhere to your unique product, sized to your specifications, wound on cores, and shipped directly to you – FAST!
Step 2: Your Transfer Application
Once you receive your roll of digital heat transfers, you may be wondering how to apply the transfers to your product. Thankfully, we can put you in contact with manufacturers that have experience with transfer applications. The operator will load your printed roll onto a heat transfer machine that is set to your specific application parameters, where the imaged film will advance under a heated silicone decorating head and over the part. At this point in the process, the head applies heat and pressure that results in the transfer of the image from the film onto the blank part of your product.
Step 3: Fast and Hands-Free Finishing Touches
One of the greatest benefits of our process is that the decorated parts are dry and ready to be packaged almost immediately after application! Glass and ceramic products do require a post-bake after application, but this is still tremendously faster than outdated methods for glass and ceramic decoration.
