In the past, the only way for manufacturers to decorate glass products was through the use of high fire decals. These decals needed to be baked at temperatures nearing 1000°F for close to a half hour, which was incredibly inefficient. Low fire decals, which are still used by manufacturers today, offer a solution because they only need to be baked at temperatures between 300-400° for approx. 20 minutes. That’s nice, but in the continuously evolving world of technology and printing, it should come as no surprise that there are still more effective ways to decorate glass.
