What is a Digital Heat Transfer and How Does it Work?
A digital heat transfer is the new and improved form of product decorating that uses a combination of heat, time (dwell), and pressure to apply a pre-printed graphic to a part or product. Our revolutionary process allows you to send your desired digital image to us (which we will work with you to finalize) before we send it to our high-speed digital printer. Your 5-color dry toner image is then printed on the underside of a polyester film. The film is then coated with a durable adhesive formulated to adhere to your specific product substrate. After the film is sized to your specifications, it is wound on cores and shipped directly to you to use for your product decoration. Learn more about our process here.
